Hybrid Dogs

HYBRID MIXED PUPPIES, OR CROSSBREEDS ARE PURPOSEFUL RESULTS OF COMBINING TWO DISTINCT BREEDS TO CREATE A THIRD

Hybrid mixed puppies are the result of purposeful crossbreeding in order to create designer breeds that may create new breeds with more desirable characteristics than either of the progeny. Often this is a crossbreeding of various sized poodles, a non-shedding breed, with another like sized dog of specifically desirable personality and look characteristics to create a non-shedding variety of the new dog. This results in a dog that is more compatible with folks that have allergic reaction to dog dander.

This is highly experimental by nature, and often results in creating undesired characteristics. When successful, the result may eventually go on to become a separate breed of its own.

These are known as Designer Dogs, or Crossbreeds.

A wild version of Crossbreed not generally considered a candidate for pet status, is the Coydog. And somewhat more friendly but still on the dangerous side, and requiring about an acre of dedicated space is the Wolfdog Hybrid.

Hybrid mixed puppies are the generic term for this specialized group of breeds. Some of the offspring carry desirable characteristics, like the non-shedding nature of the poodle hybrids, or the majesty of the wolf. Others are downright failures and create dangerous animals. So goes the way of experimentation.
