In candid shots the photographer gives up some control for what is perceived a great shot. With the use of Photoshop or another photo manipulator, the photographer can enhance the picture with special effects, words, and other items. Redeye is particulalry a problem with pets, and can be corrected with devices in Photoshop if the camera itself doesn’t compensate for it.
